Succession planning = preparing managers for senior positions before the job becomes available. Headhunting and recruitment agencies = organisations that specialise in advertising and filling job vacancies. Outsourcing supply = getting part of the company’s activity delivered by another organisation. Internal transfer or promotion = filling vacancies with people already employed by the company. Local print media = newspapers and magazines distributed near the workplace. Job search sites = websites where job offers are posted. Employee recommendation = asking company employees to find new employees. Graduate job fair = visiting universities by companies to attract new employees. Skills shortage = the abilities of the workforce are lower than needed. High trainee turnover = many employees leave before completing a study period paid for by the company.
